What will this TikTok Shop order actually pay out?

Enter the sale, shipping and every fee line from your order and settlement detail. See the waterfall down to the payout, and the gap against what your report says.

Free. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. No fee rates are built in: you type your own.

Sample numbers: one real order from the settlement walkthrough, 25.50 sold and 12.25 settled. Replace them with your own.
Sale and discounts

What the buyer paid for the item, before discounts.

Discounts you fund.

Leave at 0 unless your settlement statement deducts it.

Shipping

The shipping line taken from the payout.

Shipping the buyer paid, if it reaches you.

A shipping discount or subsidy added back.

Fees, one line each

The commission field. It can read 0.00 while other fees apply.

Only on orders credited to an affiliate.

From the fee lines on your statement.

If the order carries one.

From the fee lines on your statement.

If your statement shows one.

Any other fee line on the statement.

Fee names and rates change over time. As the walkthrough says, read the line items on your own settlement statements rather than relying on a published rate.

How the numbers work

  • Revenue = sale price − seller discount − platform discount charged to you
  • Net shipping = shipping charged + shipping discount credited − shipping fee deducted
  • Expected payout = revenue + net shipping − every fee line
  • Gap = settlement on your report − expected payout

If the gap is not zero

  • Read every fee type, not just the commission field. In the sample order the commission field was 0.00 and the other fees came to 8.55.
  • Rebuild five orders this way: full price, discounted, one with a shipping discount, and one credited to an affiliate.
  • The full method is in why a TikTok Shop order settles for less than the sale price.

Want every order reconciled, not just one?

Building the fee ledger that catches this on every order is part of the ecommerce data warehouse work Linus does for multi-channel brands.
