A national legal organization needed to combine operations and case ROI data from eight source systems. Greyfield built the Snowflake and dbt platform, added dashboards and text-to-SQL access, and taught the internal development team to run it.

The challenge
Key data was spread across Salesforce, Paylocity, Asana, and other tools. Answering leadership questions required manual analyst work, and the internal team could not easily maintain the setup on its own.
Approach
Built a Snowflake data warehouse with 74 dbt models used by reports instead of one-off analyst queries.
Connected eight source systems, including Salesforce, Paylocity, and Asana. Operational and case data now live in one place, so questions that used to require pulling from multiple tools can be answered directly.
Built dashboards and text-to-SQL tools, then taught the client's developers how the platform worked during the build. Leadership submitted more than 400 questions during proof-of-concept testing. The internal team took over maintenance after handoff.
Results
Leadership tested more than 400 operational and case ROI questions during the pilot. Internal developers learned the platform while it was built and have run it in-house since handover.
“Linus acted as a Sherpa to teach my team how to build a data warehouse with purpose and direction... Flexible, agile and easy to work with. I recommend Linus strongly.”
